Belle Growing Up

From the time Jane bought Buffy I knew I was going to be interested
in her puppies; when I found she was being bred to a gorgeous male
I had seen and admired several times while in England, there
was no question of my being on the list for a puppy!

Only 2 1/2 months old here
- but time to get used to posing for the camera

You are never too young  to practice for the show ring!

Everyone needs to take time to smell the flowers -
That's Belle on the left with her sister Bewla.

At the tender age of four months, she became the youngest dog on
record in Britain to earn the Bronze Good Citizen Award
(equivalent to our Canine Good Citizen).  Her sister has earned
one as well as the next level, the Silver.

Within the first hour in the United States, Belle found her
new best friend,  Tippy. The still do EVERYTHING together.

Almost 6 Months Old - time to take pictures and
apply for her AKC registration.  One full profile

and one full front shot have to accompany the registration.

A few days after turning 7 months she went to her first
show and came home with her first point.

And at her second outing in December, she came
home with the Reserve Winners ribbon.

At the Cleveland show, show photographer Joe Cirincione also
took her first formal portrait to send her family in England.
